Last saturday, october 10th i was at home seeing one of the set of the Miles Okazaki Monkhaton – a fantastic and inspiring immersion in Monk’s tunes.
I suddenly remembered this acoustic version of Pannonica that I’ve recorded 14 years on a martin D-35 and adding just some reverb. It supposed to be a track for a disk that came out withouth the song but just my own compositions.
I wanted to share it on the birthday of the one and only Thelonious Sphere Monk.
